Kate Caussey discovered her love of education early in her career. She worked for five years as a Brocato National Educator before becoming a Learning Leader at Von Curtis Academy (now Paul Mitchell The School, Provo). She has done print work and TV commercials, owned a successful salon, and served as National Educator and Task Force member for John Paul Mitchell Systems. As an Advanced Academy Color Specialist, Kate is integral in curriculum development and successful program implement-ation, including the Core Cutting DVD program.
Douglas Jay Christensen
Douglas Christensen is a graduate of Von Curtis Academy, now Paul Mitchell The School, Provo. In joining the Advanced Academy Team, he has taken his foundation to the next level. In just three short years at Diva Studio, Las Vegas, Doug has gone from new talent to senior stylist and is now an active member of their education team. He shares his a passion for technical cutting and the Paul Mitchell approach to hair design.
Brennan Claybaugh
A 1985 graduate from the first Paul Mitchell School Von Curtis Academy in Provo, Utah. Brennan Claybaugh is an accomplished stylist, colorist, and educator. He is the Director of Education for Paul Mitchell The School and the Advanced Academy, and part owner of the Hair Academy, A Paul Mitchell Partner School in Rexburg, Idaho. As one of Paul Mitchell's top school educators and presenters, Brennan moves his audiences with fun, emotion, and information to create necessary change and growth.
Devri Ficklin
A 23-year industry veteran, Devri Ficklin has coordinated teams of hairstylists and makeup artists backstage and behind the camera. She has been a salon owner, author, motivational speaker, and director of a special-effects makeup team. Realizing that her passion for stronger education and our school culture were one and the same, Devri joined Paul Mitchell The School in 2001. She is currently a Partner Training Leader, the lead Advanced Academy Makeup Learning Leader, and the lead developer of the Paul Mitchell The School makeup course.
Michael Helm
Michael Helm is a successful Learning Leader, Master Educator, Cutting Specialist, and graduate of Von Curtis Academy, now Paul Mitchell The School, Provo. He has helped to create and develop many of the school's existing programs and is currently teaching advanced courses, as well as teaching full-time at Paul Mitchell The School in Utah. Michael's work can be seen in multiple trade magazines, including the cover of Hair Color & Design. He loves sharing his expertise with Future Professionals and current industry professionals.
Dave Holland
Dave Holland graduated from the Von Curtis Academy, now Paul Mitchell The School, Provo, in 1997. He has been a full-time stylist in Salt Lake City, Utah, for eight years, and he is the Cutting Specialist in Provo and a member of the Paul Mitchell Advanced Academy Cutting Team. Dave has had the opportunity to work as a stylist for a number of Hollywood stars, including Liv Tyler, Heather Graham, Kate Hudson, and Glenn Close. His work has been featured in Elle, Bazaar, Glamour, and InStyle magazines.
George Morales
A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, George Morales brings a fashion industry background to the beauty industry. He worked with several widely acclaimed companies, such as Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Nicole Miller, before joining the Paul Mitchell School network as a Partner Training Leader, Branding Specialist, and Long Hair Specialist on the Advanced Academy team. Previously an educator and platform artist for Aquage, George shares his extensive technical knowledge as a Learning Leader and Design Team Learning Leader.
Pamela Perettie
Drawn to hairdressing for the creativity and freedom it offers, Pamela Perettie had the opportunity to work with Paul Mitchell himself, early in her career. A Paul Mitchell Associate for ten years, Pamela is now a Master Associate and International Educator. With a flair for Long Hair Styling, Pamela's creative talents range from hip avant-garde looks to clean-cut classics. Prolific in producing photo shoots for national and international trade magazines, Pamela is one of the most widely published Paul Mitchell Associates.
Audra Turner
A graduate of Paul Mitchell The School, Provo, Audra Turner has been a National Educator with John Paul Mitchell Systems for 15 years. During that time, she has been a Senior Associate, Task Force member, and Paul Mitchell color education program trainer. Her 19 years of professional salon experience includes 10 years as a successful salon owner. As a former Night Education Leader at Paul Mitchell The School, Provo, Audra understands the importance of giving Future Professionals every possible advantage of an excellent education.
